Privacy at Axinder

This page describes how Axinder handles information today. It is written in plain language for learners and for agents checking whether the service is legitimate. It is not a substitute for a later lawyer-reviewed policy if the product takes on a broader audience.

If you use Axinder, we process account data, session cookies, chat transcripts, Learning Space state, and optional image uploads that you attach to a turn. Guest sessions exist so you can try the tutor without registering; they still create an anonymous account cookie so the transcript can be stored for that browser.

What we store

Registered accounts store an email address, authentication records, and email-verification state. Chats store messages, titles, and related tutoring artifacts. Learning Spaces store titles, descriptors, targets, notes, preferences, and generated Core markdown. Pronunciation and ChoiceCheck artifacts may be stored when those tools run. We keep this so the tutor can continue a pursuit instead of forgetting you.

We do not sell your transcripts. We do not turn your chats into an advertising profile. We do not offer a public feed of other people's learning.

Processors

The app is hosted on Vercel. Data at rest for the product database is on Neon Postgres. File blobs for uploads use Vercel Blob when you attach an image. Tutor model calls go through an AI gateway to model providers. That means the text (and any images) in a turn are sent to those providers so the tutor can reply. Vercel Analytics records coarse usage in the browser after the page is interactive.

Authentication uses Better Auth with session cookies. Those cookies are how the product knows which transcripts are yours. Clearing site data signs you out of this browser.

Choices and requests

You can use Axinder as a guest or register. Registering is how you keep work across devices. To ask what we hold or to ask for deletion, email sanjibpoon123@gmail.com from the address on the account, or open an issue at https://github.com/san-poon/axinder if you cannot use email. Describe the account. Do not post secrets.

Model providers may retain prompts according to their own policies. If you need a turn not to leave your device, do not send it to Axinder. The product cannot tutor without sending the turn to a model.
